Welcome to Vestfossen Kunstlaboratorium – a centre for contemporary art in the old Vestfos Cellulosefabrik (1886–1970).
Vestfossen Kunstlaboratorium was established by artist Morten Viskum and opened its doors to the public in 2003. Today the institution is run as a foundation with financial support from Øvre Eiker Municipality, Buskerud County Council and the Ministry of Culture.
At present we have an annual summer programme from May to September. In the near future, however, we hope to expand our activity and have exhibitions all year round.
The main exhibition will be housed in Hovedbygningen (Main Building) across four floors. Two separate exhibitions are being shown in Galleri Star and Utstillingshallen (The Exhibition Hall). Here there is also a teaching room, conference room and office.

Accessibility
We regret that Vestfossen Kunstlaboratorium does not have a lift. There are staircases with handrails.There is wheelchair and pram access to the exhibition on ground floor, the bookstore and Café Cellulose.
