Truckene Suser Frem og TilbakeArena Vestfossen 2018

In the course of the 2018 season, two exhibitions were shown in the Exhibition Hall. In the second half of August, Østlandsutstillingen 2018 was replaced by Truckene Suser Frem og Tilbake (The Trucks Zip Back and Forth). This was a presentation of works by the six artists who hire studio space at Arena Vestfossen.

The exhibition presented both new and older works by six artists that seemingly only had one thing in common: they worked under the same roof. Nevertheless, a collegial conversation emerged that tied Kenneth Alme, Javier Barrios, Are Lead, Lars-Andreas Tovey Kristiansen, Siv Bugge Vatne and Ståle Vold, together.

The ideology behind the visual narratives in the exhibition was both influenced and expanded through the various projects, such as conversations between colleagues can help create new directions and turns in the individual's mindset. The visitor was invited to let thoughts and conversations swipe back and forth.
