The exhibition 1986–2013 / An Artist Collecting Art was a presentation of the collection of artist and Director of Vestfossen Kunstlaboratorium, Morten Viskum.

In 2013 VKL expanded with new exhibition spaces, offices, conference room, and an education workshop. In the first year of the Exhibition Hall, the main exhibition was so large it was presented in both the main building, as well as in the Exhibition Hall.
